Explanation:

As electronegative of bonded atom increase there is decrease in bond angle , suppose there are two bonded atoms , now they will attract the bonded electrons the two pairs of electron which is bonded to respective atom will move away from each other , so there will be no repulsion between the electrons as distance between them is enhanced but in iodine the electron pair is attracted towards carbon , so the distance between them decreases and repulsion increases and bond angle increase . You can understand it with the inserted diagram .
