Hey!!!
British around 1740 came to India for business purpose they didn't want to attack India.
But later they found out that Indian rulers fight among themselves and are very rich. India was called "sone ki chidiya"(Golden Bird). Even a normal villager used to eat in silver plates, such for the richness.
Thus taking the benefit of the opportunity they started to occupy the whole India.
