↪ In the British period,all of us had to suffer great torture from Britishers. One of the major sufferers were farmers also. Britishers were tend to give lots of taxes on land,personal property and even daily life things that we buy also. However,the major pressure was in farmers as they don't have enough income to pay such huge taxes on everything that they use. If any farmer fails to pay tax or repay any loans,then the Britishers would send them to jail. The number of farmers going to jail were huge as most of them can't pay such large amount with their little income from crops that also hardly fill their stomachs too.

This is the major reason of going all the farmers to jail.
