Why Britishers suspicious of Nomadic people

the British officials didn't like the nomadic people. they didn't trust them and thought that these people always wanted to destroy things. the pastoral nomads used pastures to feed their cattle but the British took it in a different way. they said that the animals munched the young plants while grazing and didn't allow them to grow.
