because it not organic it takes a long time to get decompose as this time is much more than human life span is conciderd as non biodegradable substance

Broken glass utensils r non degradable substance because it take long time to get decomposed..For example plastic it also count in non biodegradable substance coz it take long time to get decomposed or it effect environment too .......HOPE IT WILL HELP U....
