Hey mate here's your answer

As we know the reaction in which the product cannot be formed again into its reactant is called irreversible reaction or change.
Therefore, if we burst a balloon , all its constituent particles are distorted that cannot be reversed.

Hope it helps you

rkkumarrohit09p9mnrr: Bursting of a balloon is an irreversible physical change.
DebanjanDey: why
rkkumarrohit09p9mnrr: While bursting a balloon no any type of chemical reaction takes place; so it is a physical change. On the other hand, we can't get back the inflated ballon again and so it's an irreversible change.
DebanjanDey: but in our book the question is asked why brusting of balloon is a chemical change
rkkumarrohit09p9mnrr: Cutting of woods is also a similar type of irreversible physical change.
DebanjanDey: oooo
rkkumarrohit09p9mnrr: When we fill in hot gases inside of a balloon it gets inflated which happens because the air molecules inside the balloon starts vibrating more and far and so the balloon gets inflated; but if the amount of air pressure gets increased inside of the balloon, it will led to the bursting of the balloon. But bursting is an irreversible physical change.
DebanjanDey: ooooo
DebanjanDey: thanks
rkkumarrohit09p9mnrr: You're welcome bro ☺️
