Answer:soda water, like other carbonated beverages, contains carbon dioxide that has dissolved under pressure. When the pressure is released by opening the soda container, the liquid cannot hold as much carbon dioxide, so the excess bubbles out of the solution.

Answer:

Leaving a sealed plastic (PET) bottle of soft drink in hot, direct sunlight would result in three changes to the beverage.

Carbonation would slowly leak through the plastic resulting in a flat beverage. This would happen even in the absence of direct light but would occur at a faster rate with higher temperature.

Direct sunlight would eventually bleach colour from the beverage leaving it appearing diluted.

Finally, if this is an artificially sweetened beverage like Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi, direct sunlight (and the associated heat) would erode the sweetness of the beverage

Hope this helps.....
