Answer:

If the atmospheric pressure happens to be falling as the water warms, the equilibrium between gas molecules leaving and joining the air/water interface becomes unbalanced and tips in favor of them leaving the water, which causes even more gas to come out of solution. Hence bubbles along the insides of your water glass

Answer:

Bubble formation

Bubble formation takes place at the distributor plate and generates a homogeneous bed oscillation (van der Schaaf, 2002; van der Schaaf et al., 1998): in order to generate a gas bubble, particles need to be accelerated upwards. This acceleration is caused by friction forces between the gas and the particles. By this friction mechanism not only particles near the distributor, but also all particles in the bed are accelerated. The acceleration of the particles results in a homogeneously decreased velocity difference and increased bed voidage, which generate a fast propagating compression wave. For continuously formed small bubbles, the gas–particle interactions are usually not strong enough to produce pressure fluctuations, which can also be detected higher up in the bed. On the other hand, if bubbles are large or if small bubbles are generated discontinuously, bubble formation can become a substantial source of pressure fluctuations
