On passage of hydrogen gas through soap solution, the gas does not dissolves in it, and the solution easily form bubbles due to the presence of hydrogen gas. The presence of hydrogen gas can be tested with the help of a burning splinter near the bubbles. Then a popping sound willbe heard due to hydrogen burning.
