why burning of candle wax is consider a chemical change

because the thread in the candel is releasing some gases and the wax is converted into liquid. this reaction is both physical and chemical

While burning the wick of the candle.,carbondioxide is released....As the new substance is carbondioxide the following observation is a chamicl change...
