Explanation:

Well, Here,

◕ cyclobutyl is chain name bcoz as we know that longest carbon chain is selected during the IUPAC nomenclature.

and

◕ with the chain (R-CONH2) group is attached.

As we know that :-

✪ In nomenclature R-CONH2 group has its own name [ i.e, Amides (R-CONH2) take the suffix "-amide", if the carbon in the amide group cannot be included in the main chain. The prefix form is both "carbamoyl-" and "amido-".e.g HCONH2 Methanamide,CH3CONH2 Ethanamide. ]

And

✪ In nomenclature R-CO-R' group has its name Ketone [ i.e, suffix used is -one. ]

➳ But here, It's not a Ketone group It's a Amide group consisting of 1 Carbon atom. So, we named this compound as Methanamide.

And

As we know that :-

For IUPAC nomenclature :-

  • Chain name + suffix

Here,

Chain name is cyclobutyl

And

suffix is (CONH2) Methanamide.

So,

IUPAC name for this compound is cyclobutyl methanamide.
