Why calcium floats on Water?

Calcium reacts with water less vigorously so that the heat evolved is not sufficient for the hydrogen formed, to catch fire. ii. Instead, calcium starts floating because the bubbles of hydrogen gas formed stick to the surface of the water calcium.....hope u will like it.....
