People of rural areas require higher calorie intake as compared to the people residing in urban areas ...because in urban areas people do ploughing, Sowing...etc... and rural area people do work very hard so they need very nutritional, calories having food.... and mainly rural area people are very poor they cannot have very nutritional food as in rural areas poverty is more.... I mean that they cannot buy nutritional foods... so we can say that the calories requirement more in rural areas than in urban areas....

While in the urban areas people sit in the Comfort of their offices while working....

People in rural areas have to walk for distances to get food and water while these things are easily available in the urban areas....

By this we can understand that rural area people will do work very hard and they need very nutritional high calorie food compared to urban area people.....

Hope it helps you......

Mark my answer to brainliest please....... Please....and urban area people do work very hard and rural area people do some work
