Answer:

Although the humps do not store water, camels are still incredibly efficient in the amount of water they use per day, which is why they are able to go nearly a week without drinking. This is partly due to the unique shape of their blood cells, which are oval.

Answer:

A camel can survive for days without food and water in the desert because it stores fat in its hump. These fat is used up and the hump vanishes if the camel cannot get food or water for many days. Moreover it gains most of the water from the plants it eats (it can eat cactus and we know cactus stores water in its stem). Its dung is also dry. It doesn't water in form of sweat.
