The Camel can walk easily in sand as it has the following adaptations -

● It has hooves that enable it to walk easily in sand
● It has long eyelashes which protect its eyes from sand during sandstorms
● It gives out very dry dung so that water can be conserved and excreted very little urine
● It has a hump to store fat and it can drink a lot of water at one time
