Why can it hurt your foot more to kick a big rock than a small pebbles ?

this is because the small pebbles have less force of friction acting on them as compared to the big rock and the reaction applied by the big rock on the foot will be more as compared to the small pebbles.

Take a example let a big rock be your parents and small pebbles be your small brothers /sisters. Now, if your parents beat you then your heart ♥ will feel heartened and if your siblings do this then you will forgot it under 10 - 15 sec.
