but on earth there is more gravity i.e
9.81m/second square

A person can jump higher on the moon because gravity on moon is less than Earth's gravity. Earth's gravity is 6 times more than gravity of moon, but the muscles of a person on moon are as strong as on earth, so one can jump 6 times more on moon
