Hey buddy,
A person can jump higher on the surface of the moon because of less gravity i.e  1.62m/second square

but on earth there is more gravity i.e
 9.81m/second square

hope this answer helps you

Answer:

A person can jump higher on the moon because gravity on moon is less than Earth's gravity. Earth's gravity is 6 times more than gravity of moon, but the muscles of a person on moon are as strong as on earth, so one can jump 6 times more on moon
