Why can people from the whole sothern hemisphere not see the North star?

As the earth rotates, the part of the sky that you can see will change - unless you are exactly on the North or South Poles, in which case the sky will appear to rotate around a point directly above your head so you don't get to see any new stars as time goes on.

The reason the pole star, also known as Polaris , is not visible from the Southern Hemisphere, is because the earth is blocking your view. We in the Northern hemisphere cannot see crux unless we get to near the
Equator and Crux would be on the souther horizon
