Why can rice/paddy can not been grown in winter?

Rice and Paddy are plants that are grown when there is a lot of rainfall. But as they don't receive much of the water for their growth, they are not grown durning winter.

The paddy crop is not grow in winter because the climate is not suitable for the paddy crops SME Approved
