How can we see the sun?

We can see the sun because it is a luminous object, therefore it emits its own light energy which when our eyes receives these rays, then we can see the sun. It takes about 8 minutes for the light of sun to reach the earth.

☆ NOTE: Light doesn't require a medium to travel. Therefore it can travel in vaccum too.

How can we see the moon?

Moon is a non luminous object, it doesn't emit its own light energy. Non luminous objects can only be seen with the help of luminous objects. We can see the moon as it reflects the light of the sun and when this reflected light enters our eyes, then only we are able to see the moon.

What are transparent objects?

Transparent objects are the objects through which light can pass easily.
