Airplanes are made only for air travel If we say a airplane to go on water it won't go. Because every machine is made for a particular  thing. For example:- If you say can a ship fly on air. It won't do that because a ship is made only for water uses not for air or road use. Now if you say why can't Airplanes fly in space then it is because:-
