Actually all petroleum gases are compressed as much as it is possible and it is safe for domestic use and industrial use. They are compressed as much as the container allows.

LPG = Liquefied Petroleum gas is compressed. That is why it becomes
a liquid at high pressure at room temperature.
CNG = compressed natural gas.  It is compressed at high pressure
for use in vehicles or other purposes.

Actually other gases from petroleum are not labelled as compressed in their name. But they are compressed.
