human doesn't have an important pigment that is very important to convert carbon dioxide in the presence of Sunlight into food
its chlorophyll and the other way out is human need oxygen not carbon dioxide for inhalation and respiration
it is not because we are heterotrophs
some of the heterotrophs also make their own food with the presence of Sunlight and chlorophyll because they have chlorophyll and them for example euglena
thank you

bcoz we are heterotrophs....and thus can't prepare food by using carbon dioxide, water in presence if sunlight....Green plants are autotrophs
