Animal make food from carbon dioxide , water, sunlight because only plants can make the food through this as they use the process of photosynthesis as the animal doesn't have the process of photosynthesis.

So those which have green colour layer of leaves they can do this plant have a tiny type of hole this hole we can't see with naked eye through this CO2 (carbon dioxide) enter in the leaves and root in under ground get water and the dark green part get sunlight then kitchen (place where leaves make food ) mix all this and make .T

here food as animal can't do this facilites so they cant make food through water,air & sunlight.
