Why can't conductors be charged by friction?

Friction gave the charge to conductor but though moving the conductor, the charge also move back with that. Friction made the charges go away. Hence conductors can't be charged by friction.

conductors can be charged but to a very little time even if the conductor gets charged it will not remain for a long time because there is a requirement of potential difference to flow the current for a long time
