Why can't man be oviparous? Justify the statement.

It is because humans are considered to be more evolved than other species and vivipary is considered to be more evolved than ovipary. In vivipary, mother gives live birth and feeds the young one in comb through placenta. In ovipary, the young one feeds yolk sac to stay alive inside the egg shell. Placenta provides nutrition as well as supply antibodies to protect the developing baby against any diseases. That's why vivipary is considered to be more evolved than ovipary.
