Answer

Modern democracies can't exist without the political parties because of the following reasons:

No changes would be made for the benefits - Let suppose, In case there are no political parties , each and every candidate in the elections would be independent.

No one will make any promise about the changes that should be taken.

No responsible Reforms - Government will be formed but who will take the responsibility ? There will be no one to handle it out.

No Opposition - There will be no opposition party. Who will play the role of opposition ? No one to point out the mistakes and features of Government.

No one to handle a country - Elected Representatives will be accountable to their constituency for what they do in the locality.

No one will be responsible for how the country will move on.

● Parties often explain that why their party is better than others, also by promoting good and influencing people, they try to implement the policies by winning the support.

Political parties reflect the fundamental divisions in the society.

● The absence of these parties would affect a democracy very badly.

The interest of all people would not reach the parliament and therefore some parts of societies of people won't get the welfare measures.

As societies are growing and becoming more complex they aslo need some agencies to gather different views on various political and social issues and to present these government, that'why political parties are important
