why can't people bargain in shops located in the malls though they can bargain in the weekly markets

There are two main reasons for it. Two reasons are:- 1. In malls the price is fixed . Malls keep branded product which is very expensive . The malls are very big and have A.C but weekly market has nothing . 2. In weekly market there are many shops. If shopkeeper will not bargain they will move to another shop. Hope I helped u.. I dont think it is related to studies
But people who go to malls are mostly economically in a good situation. And the people who arent that rich pretend to be by not bargaining there
It is like a standard issue
But in weekly markets the shopkeeper selling their products are mostly poor so we consider our standard high and try showing them low by fighting or removing their mistakes. So we also try to bargain there
