✨hey mate! here's your answer!✨
We cannot compress a wooden block because it is a solid and it shows all the properties a solid have.
In other words, solids are incompressible as it has a definite shape, distinct boundries and fixed-volumes that is, have negligible compressibility. In Solid, molecules do not have space between them and are fixed tightly, which makes them difficult to separate.
Since, wooden block is a solid so it have a tendency to maintain their shape when subjected to outside force. extreme force can also break solid but it is difficult to change its shape!
Also, wooden block is rigid in nature so, it is very difficult to break or compress it!
hope it is helpful!☺️
