Answer:

\large\mathcal{\red{Answer :-}}

Explanation:

When the bird is flying high in the sky the distance between the body and the surface of the Earth is too large and hence even though the light is obstructed by the bird's body it cannot cast its shadow due to the large distance.

Answer:

When birds fly high, they cast shadows. Since they are too high, the Umbra vanishes at some point, but the penumbra remains.

When the source of light is closer to the object, and the object is far away from the screen i.e. Earth, the shadow will be faint.

Since the birds are too high, and closer to the sun. The umbra vanishes, and the penumbra is too large and very light to be noticed by a hooman!!!
