why can't we dissolve balls of thermocol in water where as we can dissolve sugar crystals although both belongs to the category of solids? Please answer this question.​

Explanation:thermacol and Water make a heterogenous solution similarly as sand and water do.while sugar and water mKe homogenous solution as sugar molecules can perfectly fit inbetween water molecules.

Somethings are just not meant for each other

Sugar is a crystal and thus soluble in water.
