In ordinary arithmetic, the expression has no meaning, as there is no number which, when multiplied by 0, gives a (assuming a ≠ 0), and so division by zero is undefined. Since any number multiplied by zero is zero, the expression 00 is also undefined; when  it is the form of a limit, it is an indeterminate form.

Hope it will help you.

hey mate :-)

Because when we divide any number by 0 we will get the answer 0. so, it's illegal to divide any number with 0.

let's understand by taking an example :-)

12 divided by 6 is 2
because 6 times 2 is 12.

12 d

ivided by 0 is x
means,
0 times X = 12

here, no value will work for X because 0 times any number is 0 . so, division by 0 will not work.

we can understand this concept by taking more methods .
so, let's understand :-)

1. 10 divided by 2 = 5

suppose you have 10 pens.

so, you can divide 10 pens into 5 children's by giving 2 pens to each children.

2. 10 divided by 0 = 0

now, you can't divide pens because the quantity of pens is 0.

Hence, proved.....

It's is illegal to divide any number with 0.
