No, we can't hear the explosion that takes place on the surface of moon. Sound wave needs a medium to travel from one place to another. Since there is no continuous medium from moon to earth, we can't hear the explosion on moon.

because it is far away from us and our ear cannot hear the sound which extremely far away from us......therefore we can't hear it
