pickle contains acid which reacts with aluminum (metal) liberating hydrogen gas.
This can lead to spoiling of food

We know that Lemon contains Citric Acid and Aluminum is a metal So the acid reacts with aluminum to release hydrogen which would spoil the food and render it unfit for use.
