We can not move our elbow back because we have hinge joints that only allows back and forth movement it works like the hinges of a door

We can't move our elbow backwards because the joint present in our elbow is hinge joint, so it allows movement in one angular plane only. Because in our elbow there is a hinge joint and it allows only 1/2 of movement .
