We cannot trust everything written in prashastis because they are not always true and the king always wanted to depict themselves as valiant and victorious warriors and never wanted anything to be written negative about them......

We can't trust or believe everything written about the kings in the prashastis because prashashtis are generally composed by the court poets and was written in praise of the king. They actually do this job for getting precious rewards & awards, here the truth doesn't matters.
