Answer: We can't use 10m in a metre bridge because it will create too much resistance as resistance is directly proportional to the length of the wire. Thus, we use 1m bridge which can provide accurate ratings.
If you still like to use the resistive wire bigger than 1 metre then you can use potentiometer which provide 4m wire.
