why can't we use a clinical thermometer to measure the room temperature

Because to measure room temperature we need a device which can sense the temperature very fast and the room temperature is not enough for a clinical thermometer to measure accurately.

We can't use clinical thermometer to measure room temperature because clinical thermometer is used to measure body temperature. To measure room temperature another device is used.
