Why can't we use ampere's law for finding field due to finite wire?

Explanation:

In general we don't use Ampere's law to find magnetic field intensity due to a current carrying conductor of finite length because magnetic field intensity will not be symmetrical around the amperican loop. The magnetic field intensity is asymmetric because we have to consider the whole wire not only a part of it.
