amphibians such as frogs and toads have a dual mode of breathing. these animals have a soft and moist skin supplied with blood capillaries these animals breathe through their skin when they are hibernate. and the tadpole stage frogs breathe through gills under the water.

During the tadpole stage they breathe like a fish,a s they have both gills and lungs through which they passing oxygenated water through their gills and absorbing the oxygen.
