Why can termites bore through the wood???​

due to digestive bacteria in their abdomen...hence they can chew that and digest it

It depends on the tree from which the wood is taken. The wood of teak and sal can't be attacked by termites whereas those made of mango tree can.This is due to the presence of special digestive juices in their body
