why can we not see the object kept at distance less tahn 25cm​

The ability of eye lens to adjust its focal length by contracting and relaxing its ciliary muscles is called accomadation.

To see closer object,ciliary muscles must decrease the focal length of eye lens.The focal length of eye lens cannot be decreased below a caertain minimum limit.To see an object comfortably and distinctly the distance of object should be at least 25cm from eyes. Due to this a normal eye is not able to see clearly the onjects placed closer than 25cm. This distance at which objects can be seen is clearly is called least distance od distinct vision or near point.

because 25cm is only least distance of district vision at which eye lens can form a image on retina.below 25cm the eye lens make more stress on forming image on retina
