Light is the cause for image formation in a plain mirror, without light, image cannot form. ... Or we can say it carries our image. The rays reflected from our body enter the glass mirror in front of us and light gets through the front surface of the mirror by refraction.

hope it's help uh

Answer:

Light that is reflected off the mirror travels to the eye of the observer. ... The eye can only see things in straight lines. So the eye is fooled into thinking that there is a light source somewhere BEHIND the surface of the mirror (even though there is NOT) and the brain interprets that as an image.
