Why cannot each metal react to its own salt example cu and cu suo4?

For Example,

K(s) +CuSO4 (Aq) = Cu+K2SO4

In the above reaction will happen as per reactivity series,

In our case same metal can’t replace the same metal of metal salt because of same reactivity.
