Because Penicillin is Intracellular Product, if use we E.Coli to overproduce this intracellular product cause increasing of number of product and cellular weight results metabolic imbalance and physically cell disruption and loss of cells

Ecoli cannot be used to overproduce penicillin because penicillin is mainly used to kill bacteria.

  • Penicillin, derived from the Penicillium fungi, became the first mass-produced antibiotic in the 1940s.
  • Penicillins are a group of antibacterial drugs that attack a wide range of bacteria.
  • Penicillins are used to treat infections caused by bacteria. They work by killing bacteria or preventing their growth.
  • Escherichia coli (E. coli) is a bacteria that is commonly found in the lower intestine of warm-blooded organisms.
  • It helps the body break down and digest food.
  • It is a facultative anaerobic microorganism, i.e. it can survive at various levels of oxygenation.
