why cannot metearites cross mesosphere and come down

The mesosphere are present in highest layer that is why when they fall down they unable to reach earth's crust.


The mesosphere lies between the stratosphere and the thermosphere. “Meso” means middle, and this is the uppermost layer of the atmosphere in which the gases are all assorted up rather than being layered by their mass.
