Why cannot we hear echoes in small rooms

They can't hear an echo in small room because in it the sound can't be reflected back. For an echo of a sound to be heard,the minimum distance between the source of sound and the walls of the roomshould be 17.2 m.Obviously,in asmall room echoes cannot beheard.

As minimum distance between the source and the reflecting surface must be about 15-17 m it is not available in a small room.

Moreover even if echo are created it just reach your ears along with the principal sound. Hence you can't differentiate between the original sound and an echo......
