WHY CANT ARYL HALIDES BE PREPARED BY REACTION OF PHENOL WITH HCL IN THE PRESENCE OF Zncl2

The vinylic(phenyl) carbocation formed in the reaction will be sp hybridised.
Sp hybridised carbocations are unstable and hence reaction cannot proceed.
