WHY CANT SINGLE CELL GREW VERY LARGE

If the cells were larger they wouldn't be able to diffuse through the body. If a cell gets larger then the demand of nutrients and supply of waste increases compared to the surface area.

If the cells were larger they wouldn't be able to diffuse through the body.then they need more nutrients and other things to grow more.cells are so little,so they can take little surface ares to volume.
