why cant sodium hydroxide be kept in aluminium container

it reacts with aluminium corroding the metal and producing highly flammable hydrogen gas

sodium hydroxide can't be kept in aluminium container because when sodium reacts with aluminium it corrodes the metal and produce highly flammable hydrogen gas.
